Map to Metro Church
1491 E. SR 434, Winter Springs, Florida 32708

The people of the Metro Church invite you to be a part
of something new that God is doing. Located in Winter Springs
on Hwy 434 at 417, our new facility will be easy for you
to find.
We outgrew our facility in Oviedo, and God opened the opportunity
for us to purchase the Vista Willa shopping center on SR
434 in Winter Springs, which will provide over 46,000 square
feet for our church!
"We are extremely glad to be in Winter Springs,"
said Senior Minister Dan Holland about the new beginning
for the 800 member church. "The city of Winter Springs
has been tremendously helpful and welcoming to us. For this
we are very grateful."
Built into the facility is an obvious desire for people
to feel at home, whether it's someone who is merely curious
about Christ or someone who has always known Him. When completed
in early July, 2006, the Metro complex will be suited for
a church that has always been somewhat laid back yet serious
about the business of loving people. "I think at first
it's the love and enjoyment of being together that attracts
people to Metro," said one Metro member. When asked
about the user-friendly aspects and detail of the building,
Rick Cox, Executive Minister, said, "At every turn you
will find an environment that lends itself to both education
and fellowship, which are the two things that Metro provides."
From the nursery to the youth center there is intentional
design that facilitates these purposes. In settings such
as the Metro Bistro and the Holy Grounds Café and Bookstore
you will find a place to rest, relax and have conversation
that draws you closer to God and each other. This atmosphere
is important because Metro has always been about the business
of teaching every person God's word so that they can teach
someone else.
The awesome location is perfect for Metro because their
membership drives from as far East as Brevard County and
as far West as Lake County and all points in between. Growth
and change are not new to this church. Dan Holland, who
has served Metro since 1989, says "Growth brings new
opportunities as well as new challenges such as finding
adequate space for people. We just outgrew our facilities…again.
While the meeting places have changed through the years,
one thing has remained constant - our belief that Jesus
Christ is the Son of God who came to save mankind and our
desire to reflect Christ and serve others. I am especially
excited about all the people I am about to meet."
