What is a 2:42 Group? A small group devoted to
the four characteristics found in Acts 2:42, that meets in homes,
cafes, Metro Church facilities and other places.
2:42 Teaching = Life Changing Messages
In a 2:42 group you will encounter Jesus, the Living
Word, as you experience teaching from the Word of God that is relevant
in today's society. You will be encouraged to grow and mature in your
faith. Whether you are a new believer or one who has walked by faith a
long time, God's word engrafted will cause your life to change.
2:42 Fellowship = Sharing our Life Together
In a 2:42 group you will share the joy of being in Jesus
with fellow Christians. Serving together, laughing together, and working
together are just some of the things you can expect in 2:42. This group
will rejoice with you in the great times and help support you during difficult
times.
2:42 Breaking Bread = Every Meal a Celebration
In a 2:42 group you will celebrate Jesus as you enjoy
the intimacy of a small group, remembering the love, sacrifice and resurrection
of our Lord. Sharing meals is always a great way to get to know one another.
2:42 Prayer = Talking to our Father
In a 2:42 group you will find people who will go with
you into the very presence of God in the name of Jesus and boldly petition
Him on your behalf. 2:42 groups are devoted to prayer and seeking the
leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit of God.
