Are you looking for a church home? Then Metro 101 is for you. An
informative way to find out about the Metro Church. We look forward
to meeting you and we invite you to become a part of the family
at Metro. 
The purpose of this class is to build a healthy faith in God and
his church for those individuals who have had their faith challenged
due to personal issues such as loss of a loved one,personal and
family issues, emotional and spiritual abuse,divorce and other such
challenges that cause us to question "Why me?"Transitions
is about building a faith that will withstand the challenges that
can overwhelm our lives.
Mark
wanted us to understand that God isn’t just some unapproachable
Being in the sky, but that He spent a grueling human life on this
watery planet to make it possible for us to be with Him. He came
to give us abundant life—here, now, forever. Mark’s gospel allows
us, in a way, to spend time with Jesus, to walk with Him in the
cities and to go where He goes. As we study this book, we dive deeper
into Jesus’ life. This gospel ushers us into the life of our Savior,
and it can transform our lives. 
Come
join us in the journey to discover the essence of God. God is truly
indescribable but we’re going to try. Jesus is truly irresistible
once you get to know Him. The Holy Spirit is uncontainable in a
life led by Him.
The book of Proverbs contains no unscientific statement or inaccurate
observation. Proverbs is a book that is on a high moral plane. Most
scholars say the book of Proverbs is a story about advice for a
young man starting out in life. There is a proverb that will fit
each individual and we can have a good time finding them.
In an age where DNA and Retinal scanning is becoming a much more
reliable source for evidence, fingerprints have taken a back seat.
If God is real, I mean really real, He ought to have left enough
DNA to prove it. We will examine the evidence on Sunday mornings.
We will focus on encountering the real Jesus. We need more
Jesus in our lives and less religion. We will tackle issues like
forgiveness, discipleship, and unconditional love. We will strive
to make biblical truths vivid and relevant for today's generation.
While
Ezekiel has been neglected by the church as a whole, it has come
to be the happy hunting ground of cultists, critics and curiosity
mongers. This prophet with his visions and colorful antics, however,
drives home important truths that are as vital today as the day
the book was written. Dr. Smith's book, Ezekiel, A Christian Interpretation
is available in the METRO bookstore. 
Join
parents and caregivers of our ROC children’s ministry in a course
designed to connect families in faith and God’s word. Discover the
adventure of understanding God’s word through interactive, fun ways.
Learn how to share in the lessons your children are learning in
ROC by applying them to everyday life. 
This
is a marriage enrichment course led by Randy & Billi Whitesell who
have been professionally trained by the Family Dynamics team. 
GriefShare is a weekly seminar/support group for people grieving
the death of someone close. This group is designed to be a place
where you can learn valuable information to help you through your
loss, alongside others who understand some of the pain you're experiencing.
This
is an in-depth study/discussion of the selected scriptures. In addition
to our study, ample time is set aside for fellowship. This weekly
gathering has been pivotal in developing and nourishing strong relationships
among the group members, and it is not unusual to hear that this
is one of their favorite Metro activities. 
Deep

across the wind-swept Sea of Galilee toward Jesus. John Ortberg
invites you to consider the incredible potential that awaits you
outside your comfort zone. Out of the risky waters of faith, Jesus
is waiting to meet you in ways that will change you forever, deepening
your character and your trust in God.
This semester class will include 9 guest speakers, ranging from
doctors, to ministers to health care specialists. There is a full
line up of classes that will help you to be a good steward of the
body God gave you and assist you in making good choices. It is not
necessary to have taken other classes to benefit from this class.
What
if I told you that most of your personal and organizational problems
are a result of “self-deception?” The first time I read the book
Leadership and Self-Deception I knew immediately that I had found
a book that cuts across business and family. As I read I thought
of the Golden Rule as taught by Jesus: “Ask yourself what you want
people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them”
(The Message). In this series we will learn what self-deception
is, how people get trapped in it, how it undermines personal achievement
and organizational performance, and how to solve it. This class
